Privacy Policy
Last updated:
This Privacy Policy explains who we are, what personal information we collect when you use the Amalys website or contact us, how and why we use it, who we share it with, and the rights you have. We handle personal data in line with the data-protection framework of the State of Kuwait, including the Data Privacy Protection Regulation issued by the Communication and Information Technology Regulatory Authority (CITRA), and, where it applies, international standards such as the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
Who we are
Amalys is the trading name of a single-person company ("شركة الشخص الواحد") registered in the State of Kuwait (Commercial Licence No. 2026/10199; Commercial Registration No. 548750), and it is the party responsible for the personal information described in this policy (the "data controller"). For any privacy matter you can contact us through the contact page or by email at privacy@amalys.tech.
Information we collect
When you submit the contact form, we collect the details you choose to provide: your name, email address, phone number and the content of your message.
For security and abuse-prevention, our server temporarily processes limited technical data when you submit the form, including your IP address, solely to apply rate-limiting and protect the Site.
We use privacy-friendly, cookieless analytics (Vercel Web Analytics and Speed Insights) to understand site usage and performance in aggregate. These do not set advertising or tracking cookies, do not build a profile of you, and do not identify you personally. When a message is sent successfully through the contact form, an anonymous event is also recorded so we can count enquiries; it contains no personal data. Your light/dark theme preference is stored locally in your own browser and is not transmitted to us.
How & why we use your information
We use the information you provide only to respond to your enquiry, to prepare proposals, and to deliver and manage the services you ask us about. Our legal bases are the steps taken at your request before entering into a contract, the performance of a contract with you, and our legitimate interest in operating and securing the Site and our practice.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for automated decision-making.
Service providers & international transfers
We use a small number of trusted providers to operate the Site and handle messages. We host the Site with Vercel, which also provides our aggregate, cookieless analytics. We use Brevo to deliver and process contact-form emails on our behalf and, if you choose to message us, WhatsApp. These providers process data under our instructions and their own privacy terms.
Because some of these providers operate outside Kuwait, your information may be transferred to and processed in other countries, including the United States (our hosting and analytics provider) and the European Union (our email provider). Where this happens, we take reasonable steps to ensure your information remains protected by appropriate safeguards.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry and project information only for as long as needed to respond to you, to provide and account for our services, and to meet any legal or record-keeping obligations. When it is no longer needed, we delete or anonymise it. The Site itself does not store submissions in a database; messages are delivered to us by email.
How we protect your information
We apply reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal information, including encrypted (HTTPS) connections, access controls and submission rate-limiting. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, but we work to safeguard your data.
Your rights
Subject to applicable law, you may ask us to access, correct, update or delete the personal information we hold about you, to restrict or object to certain processing, or to withdraw any consent you have given. To exercise these rights, contact us through the contact page or at privacy@amalys.tech, and we will respond within the period required by law.
Children's privacy
The Site and our services are intended for businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with information, please contact us so we can remove it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The version published here, bearing the "Last updated" date above, is the one that applies. Material changes will be reflected by updating that date.
